We're searching for a Commercial Accounting & Auditing (A&A) Manager to join our team in our Gainesville or Tallahassee office. This position is responsible for all facets of client engagements, including supervising staff and directing the day-to-day progress of engagements.

This role requires a combination of technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and client relationship management abilities. You would be responsible for maintaining high-quality service delivery, fostering client satisfaction, developing employees under their supervision, and driving business growth opportunities.

Additionally, you will :

Manage the lifecycle of projects, client engagements, business operations, and / or subordinates.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, staying abreast of industry updates and best practices.

Analyze financial performance, trends, and forecasts to provide data-driven decision-making to boost client services, identify opportunities for value-added service lines, and improve client satisfaction.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding accounting-related inquiries, issues, and recommendations.

Collaborate across various organizational departments and work with cross-functional teams to execute goals.

Perform technical quality control review of workpapers and other engagement items.

Assist in the development, preparation, and delivery of internal and external continuous education.

Contribute to the interviewing process and recruiting events as a representative of the department.

Train and delegate various sections of the work paper to employees while ensuring standards are being met.

Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients based on agreed-upon terms and services rendered.

Participate in department-driven projects and committees to improve internal and external processes.

What you'll bring to the table :

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Master's degree in accounting or Certified Public Accountant preferred.

5 years of experience in accounting with 3 years of experience in a supervisory position preferred.

Experience with commercial audits.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Prior experience with CCH Axcess is preferred.
