Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service to our guests.
Duties
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with their needs and requests.
- Collaborate with the bar team to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of bartending practices and food handling procedures is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness are essential.
- Experience in hotel, restaurant, or catering settings is advantageous.
