What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Administrator position at James River Equipment?
I am looking for a service admin/writer for our Manassas Park, VA location.
While when James River Equipment is researched, you find John Deere is our primary line of heavy equipment, our JRE Manassas branch also handles for Parts, Sales, and Service, we offer a huge variety of equally as important "allied" brands such as:
Wirtgen, Hamm, Sennebogen, Epiroc, Morbark, Hydrema, JLG, Cummins, Deutz, Scania, Doppstadt, FAE,
and the list goes on.
A service admin works along side our dispatchers and shop foreman, processing
our work in progress, otherwise known as "WIP".
When service repairs are completed in the shop or field, the team of service admins
prepare the work order for closing, invoicing.
This happens by making sure labor, parts, comments, notation, and all other aspects of the repair are
correlating to standard for customer billing or warranty submission.
This position is in-office, with minimal remote capability if any.
Good record of attendance and timeliness are must-have's for this position.
Computer skills are needed, as 90% of day to day is done in our business and web based systems, though no computer type certification's are needed for this role.
Monday-Friday with no weekend hours, and overtime is most always available.
