Insurance Underwriter / Senior Underwriter – Cyber / Professional Liability

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute regional business plans in collaboration with management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and industry partners, with regular travel required.
- Underwrite and price Cyber, Technology, and Professional Liability risks, ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
- Drive premium growth and contribute to the overall profitability of the portfolio.
- Prepare quotes, binders, and account documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging cyber threats and professional liability trends.
- Collaborate with legal, actuarial, and claims teams to enhance underwriting strategies.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and best practices through self-audits and reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-7 years of underwriting experience in Cyber, Technology, or Professional Liability insurance.
- Established broker and agent relationships with a strong understanding of cyber and professional risks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage a high workload.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and underwriting software.
- Knowledge of policy forms, coverage structures, and risk evaluation in Cyber and Professional Liability lines.
- Commitment to professional development through industry courses or certifications if not already obtained.
