About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leading boutique investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, SPACs, and IPO advisory, is seeking a Vice President or Director to join their dynamic team. This is a remote role based out of New York, offering an exceptional opportunity to drive new business development, source deal flow, and lead deal execution in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and develop new client relationships to build a robust deal pipeline.
- Leverage industry networks and market insights to originate and structure M&A, capital raising, and SPAC opportunities.
- Actively market the firm's advisory services to private companies, investors, and corporate clients.
Deal Execution:
- Oversee all aspects of deal execution, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparation of client presentations.
- Manage due diligence processes, negotiate terms, and facilitate deal closings.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver tailored solutions to clients’ strategic and financial needs.
Market Expertise:
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting M&A and capital markets.
- Provide strategic insights to clients, ensuring their transactions align with evolving market conditions.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- 6 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong track record in one or more of M&A, SPACs, IPOs, and capital raising.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and originating deals in a competitive market.
Skills:
- Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage complex transactions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
