Elementary School Teacher

The position:

James Valley Christian School is seeking a full-time 6th grade teacher. This position will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary classroom environment.

Who we are:

· James Valley Christian School is a non-profit, non-denominational, incorporated Christian school. A board elected by cooperative members governs it. Advisory board members are elected for a two-year term at the annual corporate meeting held in July. At the present time, advisory board members come from nine congregations.

· JVCS provides educational options beginning with our early education program and extending through 12th grade. JVC currently has 240 students.

· Our mission is to teach a biblically based education, transforming hearts and minds to impact the world for Christ.

· In agreement with the James Valley Christian School statement of faith

What you need

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

· Teaching experience (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

· Base salary is $42,118 with adjustments based on education and experience.

· Benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, personal, and sick leave, and a matching employer contribution to a retirement plan.

JVC employees children attend free of tuition ($6K value per child)
