Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Camp Photographer/Counselor to join our team this summer. As the photograher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers of various ages. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and fostering a sense of community among campers. Ideal candidates will possess skills in various creative fields such as photography, videography, and post-production, enhancing the camp experience through visual storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities.
- Plan and lead engaging photography activities with campers of all experiences
- Foster positive relationships with campers and encourage teamwork and cooperation.
- Assist in capturing camp moments through photography and videography.
- Utilize skills for post-production editing of camp videos.
- Manage equipment related to photography and videography
- Provide support to campers in developing new skills and building confidence.
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in photography, videography, or film production is preferred.
- Proficiency in photo editing
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience working with children or in a camp setting is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to adapt to changing situations and handle challenges with a positive attitude.
- A passion for outdoor activities and youth development is essential.
