What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce Associate position at Jameson's Discount Home Improvement Warehouse?
This job position is for Tuesday thru Friday either 9-5 or 9-6. Some of position is spent ordering replacement parts for the warehouse. This could be glass shades for ceiling fans, or power adapters for tools, or handles for refridgerators etc. Sometimes the parts are unavailable and the rest of the item is then open to sell for parts. These are photographed and listed for sale on our highly rated Ebay seller and Amazon seller accounts. When an order comes you ship the order. There are usually daily drop offs at UPS, or USPS very nearby in Yukon. This position assists the companies owner in bank runs, some lite filing, check writing etc. maybe 30 minutes a week. There is significant room for online selling as we have a TON of possible items to bring to market. This position earns 10% commission plus a base rate of $15/hr. There is only 1 position open, the person needs to have basic common sense, willingness to figure things out on their own using the online platforms tutorials and a variety of resources online. It will require a person with real world experience. The position offers a matching IRA plan, paid time off, holiday bonus, employee discount, and optional health plan outside of insurance.
