What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Store Associate position at Jameson's Discount Home Improvement Warehouse?
I am going to be unusually blunt due to the volume of applicants we are getting.
We are looking for someone reliable who doesn't miss work 1-3 times a week, we are running a small business and everyone is important. We need someone physically capable of handling the inventory we carry- most of it is heavy. We need someone who is able to work weekends, is presentable, has some common sense, and has a good attitude. We are willing to train everything else. Must be at least 18yo and have a Drivers license.

Job Description: -Assessment and Unboxing of inventory as it comes into our warehouse. Attention to detail is a must. --Unloading and loading large inventory (as a team) between stores including furniture, appliances, vanities, bathtubs, mulch, and Christmas Decor. -Ability to function in an environment that is not always climate controlled. -Self management without constant and direct supervision, will need to understand the main goal of the business and constantly work towards it without being micromanaged by owners or supervisors. Assembly of patio furniture, grills, Holiday Decor, household furniture, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans and more. -Ability to work a smart phone, box knife, pallet jack, screw driver/drill, instruction manual, cash register, and calculator.
A drivers license and personal/reliable transportation is highly preferred.
