Job Details To provide a safe, sanitary, orderly, and attractive environment for patients, hospital employees and visitors. Responsible for repetitive tasks in routine cleaning and special assignments in designated areas and other assigned areas. Cleans OR Suites and Sterile Processing, corridors, service areas, lounges, offices and assigned areas. Cleans rest rooms and replenishes essentials. Collects linen and disposes of trash to designated area. Performs tasks as assigned on cleaning schedules including; washing walls, washing windows, cleaning drapes, blinds, refrigerators, etc. Cleans IV stands, wheelchairs, instruments carts, utensils, etc. with germicidal solutions and transport to proper area. Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and rearrangement. Operates various types of cleaning equipment. Cleans work area and equipment at the end of the shift. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Schedule Information Days of work are Monday - Friday. Typical hours are 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm (flexibility if needed to start later than 3 : 00pm) No weekend work or holiday work.
