What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at Jamestown Village Apartments?
Seeking an individual who is self-motivated, friendly and professional with excellent customer service for our 324-unit property. Hours are Monday - Friday and weekend availability
This individual will greet prospective tenants, prepare and schedule property viewings, and conducting property tours. Excellent communicating skills in-person and on phone, someone who is energetic, computer savvy and detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge in all phases of leasing, greeting prospective tenants, showing community features/benefits, answering phone calls and email inquiries from prospective new tenants and current residents.
- Accepting applications to secure leases from qualified applicants and complete all paperwork and computer entry associated with leasing activities.
- Assist the Property Manager in collecting rents, delinquents, move-ins and move-outs
- Assist in resident retention and works with lease renewals each month along with other office staff and Manager.
- Provide accurate information of the different property amenities
- Completing service requests from residents and deliver to maintenance/manager for prompt processing.
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair housing and all other laws pertaining to Apartment.
Qualifications
· Excellent communicator with strong customer service, sales and personal interaction skills
· Strong internet, MS Office and data entry skills
· Ability to create reports, submit service requests
· Communicate with Supervisors and interact with existing and potential tenants
· Must be goal-oriented team player with strong organizational, problem solving and follow-through abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
