Do you want a flexible schedule that allows you to perform important customer service in the museum and education field? The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is seeking a qualified applicant for the part-time position of Courier to provide postal, banking and departmental mail services between various areas in the two museums sites, Jamestown Settlement, American Revolution Museum at Yorktown and the Central Support Complex. If selected, you will work approximately two or three 7 hour days per week/700 hours annually.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow clear and detailed directions
- Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision
- Experience working in a service oriented environment
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of or prior experience working with the U.S. Postal Service and regulations is helpful but not required.
