JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven and dedicated Licensed Therapeutic Court Clinician who can help our organization thrive as we help people live their own best lives. The Licensed Therapeutic Court Clinician will be comfortable both with clients and collaborating with community partners, including the court system. The Clinician will provide necessary services such as intake or other needed assessments, individual and group therapy, and guidance for the Peer Support Specialist and Case Manager on the Treatment Court team. This position will act as the project director for the SAMHSA Treatment Court grant, working closely with the Grants Specialist to ensure compliance with grant requirements and provide information and reports as needed.
This role will require the ability to collaboratively work with the JAMHI Treatment Court team and other community partners on the Juneau Therapeutic Courts multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for clients. The Clinician must also be able to carry a case load and provide timely and accurate documentation for each client encounter.
Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, addiction counseling, social work, or another behavioral health field
- Current licensure as a mental health clinician in Alaska
- 1.5 years of post-Master’s experience providing care for individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and Co-Occurring Disorders (COD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDC 1 or 2 certification.
- Experience with grant management.
- Familiarity with the legal system and court processes.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver’s license with the ability to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
