Job Title: General Engineering, Tucson AZ - (2nd Shift)

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

As a General Engineering you will be responsible for providing overarching professional services focusing on engineering and/or architecture in all aspects of healthcare delivery processes/systems and ensure appropriate infrastructure, facilities and equipment are available for the medical mission. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and quality. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.To succeed in this role, you should have demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve quickly. A degree in engineering, or related field is required, as well as several years of experience in a similar role.

REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• One Program Accredited by ABET or 2 include differential and integral calculus and courses in 5 of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics:
  (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits;
  (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering
  science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
• Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide overarching professional services focusing on engineering and/or architecture in all aspects of healthcare delivery processes/systems and ensure appropriate infrastructure, facilities and equipment are available for the medical mission.
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations by maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits.
• Stays up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, and adapts standard practices and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Tucson: (2nd Shift) 3:30 PM -12:00 AM Monday through Friday

PRIMARY PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

Clearance Level Required: Must be able to pass a Federal Background check.
