Description :
The Redaction Specialist shall perform document redaction services remotely / via telework.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Use redaction software to accurately and thoroughly redact documents.
- Documents contain information from incident and investigation reports.
- Specific documentation and guidance on how to redact incident and investigation reports along with guidelines will be provided.
- These guidelines will be supplemented with verbal guidance.
- Lists of reports to be redacted will be assigned on an ad-hoc basis.
- Reports must be redacted in the order assigned to ensure that the oldest reports are completed first or in the order specified.
- Delivery will be done using a secure file transfer option (likely box.com).
- The Contractor shall receive a copy of the PDF document for each assigned report from the network and use Adobe Acrobat (or a capable alternative) to prepare a redacted PDF copy of the report following the written and verbal guidance provided.
- Prior to finalization and delivery each page must be independently reviewed a second time by the Team Leader.
- Any redactions missed under the guidelines provided should be applied during the secondary review and before delivery.
