Jammie Environmental is looking for a Safety Training Compliance Coordinator to support our Safety department with a wide variety of tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Be able to track and monitor working progress of employee training programs and update training databases in Excel and BambooHR
- Support the implementation of safety programs an initiatives within the organization to help ensure that JEI employees have a full understanding of JEI customer, federal and state rules and regulations regarding safe operations and the use of equipment
- Monitor site safety communications such as signage, toolbox meetings, etc.; ensure all required postings are on-site and kept updated consistent with regulations.
- Manage filing systems (electronic and physical) in a timely and accurate manner ensuring confidentiality and according to state and federal laws
- Update and maintain third party supplier qualification systems such as Avetta, ISNetWorld, etc.
- Routinely audit on-file policies and documentation to ensure compliance.
- Help coordinate Safety programs such as Confined Space Rescue, First Aid, Fall Protection; may visit field operations
- Schedule educational meetings and trainings. May present and deliver training to employees.
- Assist in editing and updating SDS and MSDS reference books and OSHA reports.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Highly organized; self-motivated and ability to work without constant supervision
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and determine order task based on level of importance.
- General knowledge of WISHA and OSHA laws and regulations helpful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with professionalism and tact
- Experience with third party supplier qualification systems such as Avetta and/or ISNetWorld strongly desired;
Education and/or Experience:
- 2-4 years of administrative experience working in manufacturing or construction industry
- 2-4 years working with safety regulations in a construction or manufacturing related industry
- First Aid/CPR Certification preferred; OSHA 10 certification helpful
- Experience with Avetta or ISNet highly preferred
- Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record; ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
