Position Overview:
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be an integral part of the guest experience through the face-to-face customer interaction.
We encourage our team members to be well-rounded team players, willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to keep your store running smoothly. No matter what position you start in with us, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and will be tasked to take on different positions (depending on interest, skill level and experience) within our team. You may be asked to work at other store locations on occasion. You will be given notice and reimbursed the time and mileage to the location (from home store to other location).
Responsibilities:
The Front of House Team Member responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Greeting guests, taking orders, providing guidance in the customer’s ordering journey and resolving guest issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house and the back of house area. Comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of our menu to effectively communicate all ingredients to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of critical dietary information and demonstrate proper food handling.
- Operate POS register to complete customer transactions.
- Run food, maintain to-go station.
- Prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Collaborate and constant communication with Management and team.
- Accountable for upholding high standards.
- Serving customers in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the training of new team members.
- Follow the company’s security and safety procedures.
- Arriving for the start of shift ready to work on time and staying until all duties are complete.
- Follow direction and instructions.
- Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work as a team.
- Smoothie & Kitchen Line – Follow recipes and use the correct serving equipment to ensure correct portions.
- Food, Restaurant, Team and/or Customer Service experience
- A team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent and collaborative communication skills
- A knack for delivering personable customer service and a desire to make connections with guests everyday
- Accountable in upholding high standards
