Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Job Status: Full-Time
Schedule: M-Th – 6am – 4:30pm, overtime as requested on Fridays. NO WEEKENDS!

POSITION SUMMARY
The Press Brake Operator sets up and operates machines to bend metal according to work order and print. The goal of the Bending Department is to maintain a safe work environment and produce quality parts as efficiently as possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform safe start up and shut-down sequence of equipment.
- Verify prints match the revision on the work order.
- Review prints to identify correct material.
- Select the correct dye for the program.
- Locate correct program on the machine for each specific job.
- Select the correct bend sequence.
- Perform operational functions of the job.
- Perform all dimensional inspections utilizing precision measurement tools and document as required.
- Organize parts on pallets.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school Diploma
Experience: Metal fabrication manufacturing environment with operation of a press brake or similar equipment, preferred. Willing to train the right candidate.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of a computer or cell phone is helpful.

- Blueprint Reading
- Read measurement tools: calipers and tape measure.
- Operate tools: Hammer, Allen Wrench, Open End Box Wrench
