*Job Summary*
Service contractor looking for a team player who has attention to detail and commitment to helping our company's succeed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded. You will also need a willingess to help out where it needed.
*Work Hours*
This position is full time, hourly, in office from 8am to 5pm.
*Duties*
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage and automate financial tasks when relevant
- Processing monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling company accounts
- Set-up new accounts
- Payroll experience a must
- Assisting with tax payments and returns
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional tasks as needed.
*Requirements*
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role for at least three years.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
- Have a familiarity with MS Excel spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools
- Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
- Ability to create reports such as P/L Schedules is a must
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to adapt to new finance software
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
