Cannabis Consultant 
JANE Dispensary is a recreational cannabis boutique in Cotati that provides a sophisticated and knowledgeable experience. JANE is committed to helping shed the stigma of cannabis by creating a safe and comfortable environment for all. We seek to educate the public and bring quality premier products to qualified patients in California. We are currently seeking passionate and career-minded Cannabis Consultants to join our team! 

Responsibilities: 

• Understand and adhere to all state-specific regulatory compliance measures – including product-handling, seed-to-sale tracking, purchase limits, HIPPA, health/safety policies, and operational guidelines 

• Maintain familiarity with all new and existing product offerings – Understand the differences in the purported effects and effectiveness of the medical cannabis strains available, and the methods of their use 

• Offer personalized assistance by listening to and determining patients’ needs in order to make appropriate recommendations for every unique condition 

• Ensure a welcoming and helpful environment – treat all patients, visitors and team members with empathy and respect  

• Provide an exceptional experience and foster customer loyalty through dedication to superior service  

• Utilize attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency when verifying documentation, entering patient information, processing orders, and cash handling

• Ability to adapt to new systems

• Regularly perform all necessary upkeep for cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the facility  

• Communicate with the Management Team to complete additional duties as needed 

• Consultants will be cross-trained to support all retail areas of the dispensary

• Professional demeanor and appearance, including personal hygiene and adherence to dress code

• Compassionate and personable approach to customer service – Willingness to serve any and all customers – Discrimination will not be tolerated

• Team-oriented and trustworthy – Values must be in line with the company culture

• Possess a genuine interest in medical cannabis and the various treatment options available (Prior industry experience is a plus, but not required) 

Qualifications: 

• Must be 21 years of age or older 

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the dispensary, including evenings and weekends
