Job Description :
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented janitorial worker to join our team. As a janitorial worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities :
Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including offices, break rooms, and restrooms
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners
Restock toilet paper, soap, and paper towels as needed
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment
Clean and dust surfaces, including desks, chairs, and other equipment
Disinfect high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops
Restock paper products, cleaning materials, and other supplies as needed
Assist with special cleaning projects and events as needed
Work Environment :
Work schedule : Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day (minimum)
Work hours may vary based on facility needs
May be required to work during evening or weekend hours for special events or cleaning projects
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to climb stairs and navigate uneven surfaces
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous janitorial or cleaning experience
Ability to follow instructions and operate cleaning equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions :
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and supplies
May be exposed to dust, dirt, and germs
