Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness.
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying trash bins.
- Maintain facilities by performing routine inspections and addressing maintenance needs promptly.
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Carry out floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain the appearance of surfaces.
- Assist with residential painting projects when necessary to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces.
- Act as a porter by providing support during events or gatherings by maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or equipment issues.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Experience in floor care processes such as buffing is beneficial.
- A strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards is essential.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while following safety protocols.
