Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on high-quality standards in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with custodial duties in various facilities, including restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages to management promptly.
- Support facilities maintenance tasks as required, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean work environment consistently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility in all tasks performed.
