Janitor/Day Porter

Work Hours/Location

• Position is located in Boothwyn, PA
• Monday thru Friday (10:00 AM - 4:00PM) lunch hour 12:30 PM - 1:30PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the client's customized commercial cleaning checklist to perform all tasks to established standards. Common tasks include:
• Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, walls, etc.
• Clean and disinfect all required areas
• Replenish supplies throughout facilities
• Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors
• Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas
• Communicate potential safety or maintenance issues
• Arrive to work (client location) at scheduled time
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented - pays attention to details at each customer's location, with extra attention to any special requests
• Friendly and Professional - able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed
• Team player - ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to get work done
• Self-starter - able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so

Education, Experience and/or Requirements

• RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS REQUIRED
• Experience in a janitorial/cleaning environment is preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Environment

• Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, push and pull objects, lift and move objects (including up to 30 lb vacuum), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
• Proper work attire must be worn during work hours
