Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both commercial and residential spaces.

Small medical clinic for weekends only Saturday and Sunday evening after 8pm.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct industrial cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain floors through buffing and other floor care techniques to ensure they are in optimal condition.
• Assist with custodial duties such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
• Engage in porter duties which may include moving furniture or equipment as required for events or cleaning purposes.
• Perform residential painting tasks when necessary to enhance the appearance of facilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move objects as needed throughout the shift.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
