Do you enjoy fixing things, working with your hands, and solving problems on the go? Janitors Supply Co., Inc., a fourth-generation, family-owned company founded in 1954, is seeking a skilled and resourceful Equipment Service Technician to support our growing customer base throughout our service territory.
This is a field-based position with service performed both on-site at customer facilities and in-house at our Erie location. You’ll work on a variety of commercial equipment including floor care machines (scrubbers, vacuums), laundry chemical dispensing systems, and warewash/dish machine systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair cleaning, laundry, and warewash equipment.
- Install and calibrate chemical dispensing systems.
- Respond promptly to service calls and coordinate with the service team to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide professional, customer-focused support on-site and at our facility.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used.
- Support equipment demos and user training as needed.
- Coordinate ordering and inventory of service parts.
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Experience with small engine repair, electrical systems, or mechanical equipment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple service calls.
- Willingness to travel regularly within our region.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications a plus.
