Role Description
Janitors Supply Co., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive B2B sales growth within the Erie, PA area. The ideal candidate will excel in building strong client relationships, promoting our products, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a self-starter with proven sales experience and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop New Business: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the New Stanton, PA territory. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Account Management: Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring excellent service and long-term client satisfaction. Meet regularly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and execute a sales plan that aligns with the company’s revenue goals. Utilize product knowledge and market insights to capitalize on sales opportunities within new and existing accounts.
- Product Promotion: Provide clients with in-depth knowledge of product features and benefits. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to help clients see the value and applications of our offerings.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements. Apply effective closing techniques to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide feedback to internal teams to help refine and improve our product offerings.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and account status in our CRM system. Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance and market feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with customer support and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any client concerns efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in distribution or related fields.
- Strong understanding of industry dynamics and client needs.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Compensation & Benefits:
