Janitronics Building Services, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager in the janitorial services industry to join our dynamic team in the Boston area. We are seeking candidates with the right balance of leadership and management skills, along with superior customer service skills.
OVERVIEW
As an Account Manager, you will have responsibility for overseeing the operational aspects and services levels delivered to one of our major clients. You will be responsible for overseeing everything from quality control, project management and most importantly, client relationships. This position will report directly to the President and work alongside a team of industry experts as we expand our market share in the coming years.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supporting selection, development, and performance of employees.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff on a continuous basis.
- Minimize staff turnover at each client site by communicating, overseeing training programs and by serving as a key employee relations point of contact.
- Participate in management team meetings and operational planning.
- Develop and implement effective site tour schedules.
- Conduct on-site inspections and ensure each property/building is consistently maintained to the client’s high expectations - DAILY.
- Ensure clients receive the highest level of service consistent with our organization’s Customer Service philosophy.
- Escalate client complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage client relationships, maintain high satisfaction level with current services and seek to provide more services where possible.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Building Services, Janitorial, Business or related field
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years property management / general facilities / janitorial experience in a lead management role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and mobility devices
- Flexibility to respond to customer needs during non-business hours
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work, independently and under pressure.
- Proven track record of leading and developing service delivery teams
- Evidence of good client relationship skills, resolving difficulties, and creating partnerships
- Bilingual is ideal
