- P / T Vacuum Specialist
- Union site - $16 / hr.
- M-F 5 : 30pm-9 : 30pm
Vacuum Specialists are responsible for assisting with various cleaning tasks as assigned by their supervisor to ensure a clean and healthy work environment for all employees and customers. This role primarily assists with the vacuuming of floors and trash removal but assists with other tasks as needed.
Essential Job Functions :
Vacuuming all carpeting and hard surface floors in assigned areas, including edges, corners, and hard to reach areasVacuuming of all stairwells in assigned areasWiping down entry ways in assigned areas as neededVacuuming all upholstered furniture as neededReplace any missed trash can liners as neededTransport collected trash for proper disposal as neededMaintain compliance with all company policies and established proceduresMaintain company standards and programs for safety and securityMaintain productivity levels at or above company standards with minimal supervisionTreat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respectMaintain good communication with your supervisor and other employeesProvide outstanding customer serviceCommunicate any needed supplies, repairs, safety concerns, and / or maintenance work needed to your supervisorMaintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assignedPerform all other duties as assignedQualifications :
Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role preferredBasic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling proceduresAbility to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredGood organization and time-management skillsPhysical Requirements :
Ability to traverse work site and transport equipment used for completing job functionsAbility to position self to reach areas both below waist level to the floor and above their headAbility to detect, observe, and inspect work area to identify potential opportunities and concerns.Ability to transport up to 50lbs through work site as neededAbility to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritantsMust meet minimum age requirementsBehavioral Requirements :
