Position Summary
Responsible to the Controller for all aspects of accounting, prepare financial reports and records, ensure the company complies with financial regulations with the Jankel Tactical Systems Business Plan.
Responsibilities
· Financial Recordkeeping:
· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
· Process and record financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
· Handle the preparation and maintenance of financial records to monitor the organization’s assets and managing
· Financial Reporting:
· Prepare financial statements, reports, and other financial documents.
· Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings.
· Auditing and Compliance:
· Assist with internal and external audits.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and relevant regulations.
· Budgeting and Forecasting:
· Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends and forecast future performance.
· Inventory:
· Inventory Accuracy
· Cycle and Physical Inventory Support
· Training operation for inventory procedures
· Other Duties:
· Process invoices and payments.
· Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and equity.
· Support other accounting functions as needed.
· Other duties as required by Management consistent with the JTS Business Plan
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting
- HS Diploma five years relevant bookkeeping experience
- Understanding of and experience with workflow of accounting process in manufacturing environment
- Computer, literate and proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point and Delek Cost Point
- Personable, self-confident and able to network effectively with all employees
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
