Position Title: Account Manager/Designer
Job Status: Part-time Contract Worker (10-20 hours per week, pay commensurate upon experience)
Supervisor: Business Manager
Primary Purpose of the Position: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, serving as the liaison between the client and the agency, to organize and develop all marketing and design tasks, ensuring that clients’ needs are understood and satisfied.
Essential Functions:
- Work with management to coordinate and develop marketing and public relation strategies for clients
- Proactively maintain regular communication with all clients, coworkers and supervisors
- Attend monthly staff meetings and complete all tasks assigned in accordance with the goals and objectives discussed during the meeting
- Track campaign performance and develop marketing reports upon request by the client
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
- Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
- Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Work Schedule: Generally not to exceed 20 hours per week. The schedule will vary based on marketing needs and workflow. We work in a collaborative environment and thrive when we have the opportunity to work in person in our Galveston, TX office.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Actively pursuing a college degree with an interest in marketing, business or related field, or recent graduate with BBA
- Basic knowledge of computers and computer skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, Internet applications, basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, CRM systems, preferred.
- Basic awareness of current design trends across multiple platforms including social media and similar avenues of content marketing.
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
- Demonstrated success in managing projects, meeting deadlines, and producing high-quality work
- Professional presentation, excellent writing and oral communication skills are essential
- Be willing to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to attend in person staff meetings and events when necessary.
