As an experienced Account Executive, you will play a key role in assisting a Team of Financial Advisors in delivering customized financial advice and solutions to clients. You will work closely with clients and other team members to develop and implement financial plans, conduct analysis, and support client relationship management. This role offers an opportunity to expand your financial planning expertise while contributing to the success of our team, clients and firm. This individual must be knowledgeable of and comply with all rules and regulations of the firm as well as the various regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Plan Preparation: Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial plans for both existing and prospective clients, including retirement planning, tax planning, investment strategies, estate planning, and risk management. Participate in client meetings to present financial plans.
Research and Analysis: Keep current on market conditions, firm research, available investment products and tax strategies. Provide detailed analysis to help inform financial recommendations.
LTC and Annuities: Be the LTC and Annuity expert for the team by reviewing current policies and researching available options. Manage the insurance/annuity process from proposal through to completion.
Initiative: Assists the FA Team to implement a defined asset allocation and investment strategy. Offers investment ideas and advice beyond investments based on firm resources, team guidelines and asset allocation strategies tailored to risk profiles and investment objectives. Implement a client service strategy within the FA Team’s guidelines to ensure high quality client service.
Building Relationships: Collaborate with clients and prospects to understand their financial goals, needs, and concerns. Assists in identifying investment and lending needs and coordinate the delivery of investment, fiduciary and lending solutions to satisfy those needs. Participate in client meetings to assist in bringing additional assets and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related financial services role.
Series 7, 63/65 or 66 and a life insurance license (or become life licensed in 6 months).
CFP or other similar financial industry-related designation preferred.
Solid knowledge of retirement plans, insurance products, estate planning, and investment vehicles.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage their own time to support the overall goals of the team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Critical thinking skills.

The compensation package for this position consists of a base salary, (with eligibility for an annual bonus/commission if applicable) as well as eligibility to participate in all company benefits offered by Janney to full-time employees including health, dental, medical coverage, disability income protection, life insurance, PTO/vacation, holidays, and 401(k). The salary range for this position will be $70,000 to $80,000. Total compensation packages at Janney are based on experience, skills, credentials, and geographical location, of each specific candidate.
