Janney Client Service Center (JCSC) Representatives partner with our clients via inbound phone calls to assist them with a wide range of financial inquiries, from account maintenance to identifying and resolving issues. Analytical Ability – Effectively evaluating data from various sources to identify and resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
Respond to client requests for information including communicating account balances and executing unsolicited trade orders, assisting clients with fund transfers and processing account maintenance requests
Partner with appropriate home office and branch staff to resolve client issues
Document and maintain controls to ensure all security balances and transactions in brokerage accounts comply with regulatory and company policies
Identify processing related issues and trends and recommend improvements to workflows
Complete ad hoc reporting and assignments as required
Requirements and Qualifications:
Two-four years of experience in financial services, preferably at a broker dealer
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
Strong MS Office skills
Experience with Thomson preferred
FINRA Series 7 (required); 63 and 65 (or 66) licenses highly preferred or the ability to become registered in sixty (60) days
Strong customer service and telephone skills
Ability to work and thrive in an intense/fast-paced team-oriented work environment
Enthusiasm and a passion for working with people
A strong work ethic and goals and deliverables
Have strong oral and written communication and relationship management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
