We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Private Client Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and accurately. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, with the desire and capacity to learn about financial products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
Assist clients with account-related inquiries, transactions, and general financial product information.
Ensure all client data and records are accurately entered and maintained in the system.
Process financial transactions, such as rollovers, transfers, payments, and account updates, while ensuring all actions comply with regulatory requirements.
Resolve client issues or concerns by investigating and troubleshooting problems, offering solutions, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal departments to escalate complex issues and provide a seamless customer experience.
Provide guidance and support to clients regarding the use of digital tools and on-line platforms.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive client information.
Keep up to date with company products, services, and industry regulations to provide accurate information to clients.
Assist in scheduling and preparing client appointments.
Provide marketing support through team branding, email campaigns, client events and social media management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Prior office experience in a financial or professional services setting is a plus
Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 preferred or ability to obtain licensing within twelve months from date of hire
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service management software (CRM).
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex tasks with accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to resolve issues.

The compensation package for this position consists of a base salary, (with eligibility for an annual bonus/commissions if applicable) as well as eligibility to participate in all company benefits offered by Janney to full-time employees including health, dental, medical coverage, disability income protection, life insurance, PTO/vacation, holidays, and 401(k). The salary range for this position will be $60,000 to $70,000. Total compensation packages at Janney are based on experience, skills, credentials, and geographical location, of each specific candidate.
