Jansen Kitchen and Bath is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager/Construction license holder with a background focusing in residential remodeling. In this role, the successful candidate will manage other members of our team in a professional environment to ensure the successful completion of residential remodel project scopes set forth by the design and sales staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with clients/homeowners, design/sales staff, field staff, and subcontractors.
- Maintain a positive image of the company with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
Ensure quality control on every job site.
- Develop and maintain job schedule for projects while working with fellow Project Managers to ensure all projects are moving forward as needed.
- Facilitate all homeowner coordination/progress meetings.
- Review and approve subcontractor pay.
- Track and evaluate subcontractor change management.
- Monitor schedules, cost reports, and job progress to be reviewed with production team and sales staff weekly.
- Manage change orders and extra work orders with homeowners and sales staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve unforeseen construction contingencies with homeowners, designers, and field staff as needed to reach a successful solution.
- Review final project closeout cost with designers/sales staff to ensure all completed work has been billed properly.
Requirements:
- Engaging leader and team player.
- 5 plus years of experience residential construction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid FDL with a good driving record (Ability to drive a truck with trailer is preferred)
- Ability to read building floor plans and cabinet elevations.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily
