Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through end of April 2025.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.

Your opportunity
- Responsible for developing and driving product development initiatives as a key member of the Product Strategy Development Team
- Own the design and construction of new SMA product concepts and enhancements to existing products
- Lead matrixed interdepartmental SMA-focused team to maintain multi-billion dollar book of business
- Team with product, trading, compliance, operations and legal, to ensure delivery of SMA strategies and enhancement of service model across single, dual, and model-delivered SMAs
- Partner with distribution and marketing to develop business growth strategy and collateral
- Work with investments to extend existing and new strategies into SMA vehicles
- Collaborate with distribution specialist team to implement client growth strategies
- Serve as subject matter expert for product line
- Drive front to back quality assurance assessments to mitigate operating risk and in support of a cohesive operating framework through a matrixed SMA team.

- A thorough understanding of the complete SMA/UMA workflow, inclusive of operational and regulatory requirements
- Integrate research, development and sales/marketing strategies to successfully install new SMA products and services or rationalize existing products
- Act as a primary interface with other departments, including investment to drive products from approval to full implementation
- Understands and embraces distribution channel dynamics, which allows for successful implementation across diverse platforms and sponsor types.
- Find opportunities for SMA client growth and retention
- Presents new SMA product strategies to senior management, product development committee, and cross-functional implementation teams
- Conduct ongoing analysis on existing SMA product platform to ensure long-term marketability and profitability.
- Assists with internal training for new product launches
- Work with external SMA platform service providers to deliver operating enhancements and client customization services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the asset management business and investment products, including peer-based knowledge of industry standard methodologies, third party providers and innovative solutions.
- Experience assimilating complex and varied market data into a timely case for product development
- Strong knowledge of SMA products and services
- Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to drive ideas from concept to completion
- Ability to set goals, work independently and drive results
- Strong interrelationship skills
- Strong experience with presentation development and delivery
- Strong organizational skills
- 8-10 years’ experience in product management or product development focused on SMA
- Bachelor’s Degree
