What are the responsibilities and job description for the Install Lead/Crew Supervisor - ACT position at Janus International Group?
Overview
Responsible for onsite installation management of ACT/NSE installations as assigned by the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure pre-construction site inspection is performed in a timely manner and that jobs begin on time and according to customer requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring material is received on-site and that all material needed to complete the install is delivered.
- Supply thorough details and information to estimators and PM’s to resolve on-site issues.
- Work alongside and supervise assigned Crew(s)/Job(s) to ensure compliance with Janus/NSE/ACT policies and procedures as well as adherence to shop drawing.
- Perform assigned site inspections in a timely, consistent manner, submitting required inspection reports.
- Provide accurate information pertinent to crew assignment.
- Ensure the job is completed within contract terms.
- Ensure the job is completed per NSE/ACT specifications and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for completing final walk thru with customer and ensuring all punch list items are completed in an expedient manner as required by NSE/ACT policy and procedure.
- Responsible for obtaining a digital audit and completing an installation completion checklist with photos (physical audit) before leaving the site.
- Responsible for obtaining customer sign-off on installation.
- When project size dictates, perform installation work independently or alongside other NSE/ACT install leads and/or technicians/auditors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous low voltage and networking installation experience required.
- General technology experience required.
- Up to 75% Travel required.
- Excellent communication skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, climb, and walk.
- Required to climb ladders of up to 24 ft.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and over 50lbs with assistance.
