Overview
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for working with the development teams to create defect free releases for our products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Quality and can take on challenge to find every kind of defect across a multi-tiered application with focus in all of the areas below.
Responsibilities
- Create, Maintain and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for web, mobile and API testing
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Maneuver various network and cloud configurations.
- Build and monitor automated tests and notify engineering teams of failed test.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in Software Development or Quality Assurance.
- 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum product development methodology and lifecycle.
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as black box testing, Whitebox testing, performance testing, regression testing, automated testing, UX Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies.
- Experience working with software QA tools like JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, Tosca, SoapUI, Mocha, Cucumber etc.
- Basic knowledge of iOS and Android for QA evaluation of mobile applications.
- Debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with in-sprint automation is an added advantage
