As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients' treatment goals for recovery and self-sufficiency. Key Responsibilities :
- Support clients in accessing or maintaining SUD treatment, recognizing the validity of multiple pathways to self-defined recovery.
- Explore all resources , including healthy nutrition, to help clients achieve recovery.
- Meet with clients regularly to offer one-on-one support and counseling.
- Develop recovery plans , coping methods, and rehabilitation strategies with clients.
- Arrange medical appointments , therapy sessions, support groups, and other resources.
- Monitor clients' behavior , schedules, medication, and activities.
- Report any unusual behavior , conflicts, or recovery deviations to relevant professionals.
- Coordinate clients' logistics , such as medical appointments and therapy sessions.
- Conduct assessments and provide feedback to clients, medical professionals, and families.
- Generate recovery reviews and performance documents to track the rehabilitation process.
- Use eHR for data entry and care coordination / referral documentation.

Pay & Benefits
At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $23.00 and $24.00 per hour and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.

As part of our team, you'll frequently move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, ensuring everything is in the right place for our various needs. You'll also have the opportunity to stay active by occasionally moving around the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and more.
