Cloud Egineer - Mclean VA

Job Duties

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level AWS cloud infrastructure
• Lead technical implementation of security, monitoring, and DevOps practices
• Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and technical documentation
• Oversee system administration, database management, and virtual desktop environments
• Ensure compliance with security requirements and A&A processes

Mandatory Skills

1. AWS Expertise
   • Demonstrated experience deploying and managing enterprise-level AWS services
   • AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification
   • Proven experience troubleshooting AWS cloud environments
   • Experience implementing security at all layers of AWS cloud solutions
2. System Administration
   • Strong Linux/Unix and Windows server administration skills
   • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database administration
   • Expertise in virtual desktop environments (Citrix or RDP)
   • Experience with monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, ELK Stack)
3. Security and Identity Management
   • Experience with IdAM systems (LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth 2.0, SAML)
   • Knowledge of security constraints and data protection
   • Experience managing continuous monitoring for IT systems
   • Expertise in vulnerability scanning and management
4. Development and Infrastructure
   • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
   • Proficiency with DevOps tools (Ansible, GitHub)
   • Experience implementing scalable software services
   • Ability to write detailed technical documentation
