Pay: $28 - $31 per hour DOE.
Night Shift: 10pm to 6am - $1.25/hour shift differential

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 3rd Shift Bindery Team Lead to join our night shift team. In this role, you will lead others, support employees in their growth and progression, and support company initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and train Bindery staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Assess staffing needs and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Coordinate with scheduling to prioritize workloads and maintain a steady workflow.
- Serve as a liaison and consultant for Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and sales teams.
- Identify and respond to floor emergencies promptly.
- Plan and manage weekend and overtime schedules.
- Assume the responsibilities of the Finishing Manager in their absence.
- Lead and facilitate startup meetings to align team objectives.
- Assist in developing and executing strategic initiatives for the Bindery department.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor and minimize waste and spoilage to improve efficiency.
- Enforce workplace safety protocols and company policies.
- Actively participate in the company’s continuous improvement program, identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Support employees in developing problem-solving skills to enhance productivity.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to monitor and improve processes.
- Communicate the company's Management Policy Statement and department objectives to all employees.
- Ensure employees understand their role in achieving organizational goals.
- Address and resolve ISO audit findings in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to corrective action processes (CAR System) to enhance workflows and product quality.
- Develop, review, and refine departmental procedures and work instructions for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a printing manufacturing setting with a focus on quality
- Understanding of the use of statistical tools, continuous improvement concepts and problem solving.
- Be able to work effectively with team leaders, staff, peers, and top management.
