Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Bradenton, FL
Job Type: Hourly (Part-Time to Full-Time, Flexible Schedule)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations, inventory management, and light technical refurbishment tasks. The ideal candidate will have a technical bias—experience with small electronics, assembly, and kitting is a plus, but deep electrical expertise is not required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, process-driven environment and can switch between warehouse functions and light technical work.

Key Responsibilities: Technical & Assembly Work

• Assist with module refurbishment, including unit preparation, flashing, and basic configurations.
• Assemble and kit small to medium-sized units for fulfillment.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or quality issues in technical components.
• Potential opportunity to expand into more advanced configurations and repairs.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Pick, pack, and palletize orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and material movement (certification preferred but not required).
• Assist in small parts management, including binning, shelving, labeling, and cycle counting.
• Maintain proper documentation and organization of warehouse materials.

Tradeshow & Logistics Support

• Assist in preparing materials for tradeshows and ensuring all components are accounted for.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to refine and improve tradeshow logistics processes.

General Warehouse & Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including routine sweeping and organization of refurbishment and parts areas.
• Support warehouse projects, process improvements, and new warehouse setups as needed.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Technical & Assembly Experience (Not Required)

• Experience working with small electronics, circuit boards, or technical components.
• Basic understanding of currents, volts, and amps is a plus.
• Ability to assemble and kit units for fulfillment.

Warehouse & Logistics Expertise

• Experience in picking, packing, palletizing, and shipping.
• Forklift experience (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Understanding of inventory tracking, binning, and bill of materials (BOM) structures.

Software & Process Efficiency

• ERP system experience (SAP preferred, but other ERP systems acceptable).
• Basic (Outlook, Teams, and Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured checklists and processes.

Work Ethic & Adaptability

• Track record of improving warehouse organization, efficiency, and cleanliness.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment where multiple responsibilities may shift daily.
• Able to prioritize between technical and general warehouse tasks.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a growing company with evolving needs.

Flexible Work Schedule:

• Potential for fulltime employment, otherwise hourly as follows.
• Winter months: 25-32 hours per week.
• Summer months: Up to 40 hours per week.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
