Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting preferred
Public Accounting and/or Audit direct experience preferred!
Prefer candidates: CPA, CGFM, CFE, etc. (licensed)
Previous experience: Finance or Accounting
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Strong project management skills

Essential Functions:
Enter variety of data using current technology (Word, Excel, Pfx, PowerPoint, Office 365)
Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and other accounting and consulting reports from information provided
Identify any errors, proofread, make corrections
Responsible for proper grammar usage, spelling, formatting
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes
Responsible for tracking that deadlines are met under a high pressure environment
Review and enter data updates in the systems
Review discrepancies in data received
Advise supervisor of issues related to the reports
Exercise a high level of communication with team members to ensure excellence in client service
Obtain an understanding of the client’s business, industry, system cycles, and account balances within the scope of specifically assigned tasks
Become familiar with pronouncements of the FASB, AICPA, GAO, GASB, and PCAOB where applicable
Perform substantive and analytical auditing procedures in assigned areas
Prepare working papers that adequately document the tests and procedures used to substantiate conclusions
Be aware of the proper and consistent application of accounting principles in performing audit procedures
Identify and document control deficiencies or other matters that warrant the attention of management
Manage time within budget limits and provide real-time feedback to the immediate supervisor
Understand the AICPA’s rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct
Exhibit skills and characteristics delineated in the firm’s evaluation forms

Additional pay info.: Audit Staff = 40-80K. Temporary = Rate per hour to be negotiated.
