POSITION SUMMARY - Assembly Technician - Assembler
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to specifications and blueprints. The position assembles production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment. This role works independently and is expected to be self-driven.
SHIFT - Assembly Technician - Assembler :
- Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-4 p.m. / 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and productsUtilize hand-held toolsMaintain inventory of products in workstationsPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standardsIdentify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identifiedRework and / or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changesPerform all work following quality standards and established safety proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform load tests as required by customer engineeringApply various adhesives and sealants with appropriate applications per customer specificationsOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS - Assembly Technician - Assembler
High School diploma or equivalent GED1 years of experience in mechanical assemblyAbility to read blueprints, engineering plans, procedure manuals, and work instructions.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Basic computer skills.Quality-minded with a high mechanical aptitude and high attention to detailSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to lift 50 lbs regularlyCan-do attitude with the ability to take on new responsibilities as needed.
