Title: Civil Drafter/Designer

Summary - Civil Drafter/Designer Civil 3D: This is an opportunity to put your civil design skills to the use for the betterment of northwest Arkansas working on infrastructure and land development projects. We have openings for both civil drafter and civil designer level candidates. Pay would start at $23/hour for candidates who possess the minimum qualifications listed below and goes up to $40/hour for candidates who can create designs from engineering calculations in Civil 3D without oversight from an engineer.

Responsibility Summary - Civil Drafter/Designer Civil 3D:

• Drafting and Designing: Utilize Civil 3D CAD software to create detailed civil engineering drawings, including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts.
• Land Development Projects: Work on a variety of commercial and residential land development projects in northwest Arkansas.
• Collaboration: Partner with civil engineers and project managers to interpret project specifications and ensure designs meet client needs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Review and revise drawings to maintain accuracy and adherence to engineering standards.

Minimum Qualification Summary - Civil Drafter/Designer Civil 3D:

• Experience: 1 years of experience working as a civil drafter/designer
• Technical Skills: 1 years of experience working in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
