Summary - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Representative with experience selling HVAC systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and estimating projects for Mechanical Contractors, providing technical support, and building relationships with Mechanical Engineers. You will manage projects from initial sales through to completion, ensuring timely and accurate estimates and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales :

  • Sales & Estimating - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales : Provide detailed product / project estimates, pricing, and negotiate sales to Mechanical Contractors. Assist in the correct application of products and ensure customer satisfaction. Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates and quotations aligned with project requirements.
  • Project Coordination - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales : After sales, prepare submittals, orders, and job files for processing by the administrative team. Coordinate shipping schedules with customers to ensure timely delivery. Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure their needs are met.
  • Customer Relationship Management - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by offering responsive and accurate support. Directly engage with customers, ensuring their technical needs are met and they receive exceptional service throughout the project.
  • Engineering and Product Awareness - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales : Work closely with engineering teams and clients to build product awareness and promote the company's offerings. Make proactive engineering calls with firms to establish and nurture relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of professionalism and customer-focused attitude.
  • Prior experience in the HVAC industry and technical knowledge (preferred but not required).
  • Sales and estimating experience (preferred but not required).
  • Education & Experience - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales :

  • High school diploma (required).
  • Some college education preferred (but not required).
  • Previous experience in HVAC sales and / or estimating
  • Work Environment - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales :

  • Primarily office-based with occasional field visits.
  • Collaborate with engineers, customers, sales teams, service groups, and administration to meet project needs.
  • Manage required project documentation, including billing, cost estimations, and project paperwork.
  • Physical Requirements - Outside Sales Rep - HVAC Sales :

  • Office work, along with occasional visits to contractors and engineers.
