Job Description Job Description Summary – Survey Crew Chief : As a Survey Crew Chief you will be responsible for leading a land survey crew in collecting boundary, topographic, ALTA, and as-built survey data. The Crew Chief will be working with the Power / Renewable team and requires a heavy travel workload. The Survey Crew Chief will primarily work 3 weeks on the road before getting a week at home.

Responsibility Summary - Survey Crew Chief :
Provide technical expertise to internal and external clients
Collect construction staking, boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveying data.
Operate GPS, total stations and data collectors
Run a crew of two.
Transfer files between data collectors and internal company project folders
Qualification Summary – Survey Crew Chief :
High school diploma or equivalent required
3 years of surveying experience (at least 1 years operating as a Crew Chief)
Must be able to operate a robotic total station and GPS in both static and RTK modes
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle with a valid license and clean driving history
Must be able perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence
Basic “office suite” computer skills
Boundary and topographic data collection specialties preferred
