Civil Construction Superintendnet

We are looking for a skilled Civil Superintendent to join our team for Street, Road, Highway, and Heavy Civil Construction. The ideal candidate oversees and manages construction projects specializing in earth moving, transportation, roadways, water resources, and underground utilities from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction management and possess excellent leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 

 

·         Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and implementation.

·         We primarily perform heavy civil projects specializing in earth moving, transportation, roadways, water resources, and underground utilities. 

·         Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site.

·         Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. 

·         Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

·         Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly.

·          Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and budgets.

·         Oversee all aspects of construction projects throughout the implementation and execution of the plan and schedule.

·         Manage all necessary resources to complete the project.

·         Successfully interface with customers, contractors, project inspectors, and field personnel.

·         Ensure project safety and efficiency.

·         Mentor and provide training to both experienced operators and newly hired laborers.

 

Qualifications:

·         Proven experience as a Civil Construction Superintendent or similar role for 3 years

·         In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment

·         Familiarity is a plus with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, and Bluebeam

·         Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols

·         We are seeking an individual with 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry.

·         Must have excellent leadership skills, be a strong communicator, and have a “take ownership” attitude.

·         Must be willing to travel up to 80% of your time.

·         Experience with construction management software such as PROCORE, and Bluebeam a plus

·         General Utilities, Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil for 8 years

·         Work Location: In person.

 

·         Essential to have 10 years plus of experience in the construction industry.

·         Engineering or construction management background preferred.

·         Crucial to have excellent leadership skills, be a strong communicator, and have a “take ownership” attitude.

·         Must be willing to travel up to 75% of your time throughout Colorado.

·         Must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and bidding software.

·         Must hold a valid Driver's License
