Electronics Technician (Flexible Hours, Hands-On Experience)
We are a small but growing company specializing in marine electronics application and development. We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team. This role involves a mix of soldering, testing, organizing, and general support for our engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting of circuits
- Soldering and assembly for both surface-mount and through-hole PCBs
- Organize and maintain lab/workshop space, tools, and components
- Follow technical instructions and assist engineers as needed
- Perform miscellaneous tasks related to electronics development and production
- Assist in managing and tracking inventory of electronic components and supplies
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with soldering and basic electronics assembly
- Comfortable using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
- Ability to work independently and keep a tidy workspace
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A problem-solver with a flexible, can-do attitude
Nice-to-Have (but not required):
- Familiarity with PCB layout software
- Basic programming or microcontroller experience
- Experience with 3D printing or other rapid prototyping techniques
