Supervised directly by the Jared General Manager; supervised by the Jared Assistant General Manager in the General Manager’s absence.

Summary

Performs daily operational duties and provides guest service support and assistance. Makes sure guests’ needs are exceeded, complaints are resolved, and service is timely and efficient. Attain personal performance standards by serving as a backup to sales representatives and staffing the sales floor as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Contributes to an environment of total guest service by providing high-level guest service and adhering to the Company’s guest first philosophy.

2. Answers phones, performs guest calling (including repair estimates and follow-up), and explains procedures and policies related to repairs.

3. Inspects and checks in-bound repairs into the POS system.

4. Inspects jewelry to evaluate the condition and identify necessary repairs. Determines need and suggests services, including appraisals.

5. Polishes and cleans jewelry as needed.

6. Completes repair ticket paperwork, enters information into the Job Entry system, and prepares outbound repair shipments.

7. Maintains repair drawer to make sure items are not past unclaimed status. Sends repairs to Field Support Center as unclaimed as needed.

8. Maintains repair cleaning station in a clean and organized manner.

9. Reviews repair reports to verify jobs were invoiced properly.

10. Provides status of repairs in order to communicate between the Design & Service Center and guest.

11. Achieves sales goals by actively assisting the sales floor as needed. Utilizes store technology as a sales tool.

12. Meets credit application standards.

13. Sells ESP, UWP, JRP and explains PPP where available. Explains warranty, trade-in policy, and payment options.

14.Executes in-house watch repairs as needed. CCD: 1503121W-H/R

15.Assists with store opening and closing activities.

16.Adheres to all established security and loss prevention policies.

17.Complies with and oversees all policies and procedures related to repairs.

18. Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.

19.Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

1. Ability to perform simple numeric calculations and complete varied administrative tasks including spelling, typing, and filing.

2. Ability to work independently.

3. Knowledge of repair processing including taking in repairs, job entry, inspection, job pickup, shipping, receiving, quality control, ESP claims, filing, and retention.

4. In-depth knowledge of jewelry and watches.

5. Strong organization skills.

6. Ability to work well with others.

7. Excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
